Brimble on her way back to the UK

On July 11th 2009, after 10.5 days at sea and 1250 miles, Brimble made landfall at Falmouth. An absolutely phenomenal sail with speeds up to and occasionally over 8 knots. Gordon and Rob who crewed on this last leg did a superb job with winds in excess of 30 knots on several days and the good ship enjoying a fair amount of rolly polly.
After we had discovered that the marina we planned to stay in had not been built we finally berthed on the Town Quay alongside Reverie (Vancover 32) who we had left the Azores with 10 days earlier. They beat us by only 4 hours.
Falmouth is a lovey spot with many pubs and restaurants and we made good use of these facilities.
